Saron

Why „SARON“ ?	“I am only a flower in the plain of Saron, a lily from the valleys. But like a lily among thorns my friend is among girls!" Song of Songs 2/1-2.
Already in biblical times "Saron" was a more or less barren landscape in Israel where occasionally "roses (lilies) among thorns" could be observed, which were highly admired.. Nevertheless, such "roses among thorns" can also be found today in our daily environment. But many people do not look precisely and many are not couraged enough to show what they are because others can always do better. Let us never get tired of tracking down such "roses".
